The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll has returned with a new “Wish” tree, an updated Disney Cruise Line display for the Disney Treasure, a new Disney Vacation Club tree, and an updated Annual Passholder tree. The themed trees can be found all throughout Disney Springs, and guests who complete a Tree Stroll map get a celebratory button at the end.
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll Map & Button
Signs at the Disney Springs entrances have information about the Christmas Tree Stroll and the Santa Claus meet and greet.
Guests can pick up their complimentary Tree Stroll map and sticker sheet from City Works Eatery & Pour House, Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers, Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company, The LEGO Store, or Planet Hollywood. The prize buttons are also available at these locations.
The map is part of a folded pamphlet.
There is a sticker sheet of small circular stickers featuring different characters, logos, and symbols.
On the map, the 19 trees are marked with circular tree symbols. When you find a tree, put the correct corresponding sticker over the tree symbol.
The map also advertises Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, which has holiday offerings.
Upon completion, guests get this button, which is the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll logo with the year.
Haunted Mansion Tree
There is a sign at each tree showing the correct sticker, in case you aren’t familiar with every Disney IP. The signs also include a QR code that takes you to a list of holiday offerings at Disney Springs.
The same trees and decorations are recycled most years. The Haunted Mansion tree is a returning favorite, featuring various elements of the classic ride, like the “floating” candelabra, ghostly bride, and Madame Leota gravestone.
The trees use a combination of retro/vintage ornaments, Disney ornaments, and custom pieces.
Annual Passholder Tree
The Annual Passholder tree previously had red and yellow streamers, large versions of the Mickey and Minnie Annual Passholder magnets, a Mickey tree-topper, and a mini Monorail around it.
The tree is now topped with a glowing yellow star featuring Mickey’s face in the Disney “D.”
The rest of the tree is covered in a wider variety of ornaments than before, including some inspired by Mickey balloons.
There are framed works of art that resemble photos of families enjoying Walt Disney World.
“Wish” Tree
This new tree celebrate’s Disney’s upcoming film “Wish,” which will be in theaters on November 22.
The tree features floral elements.
There’s a spellbook with hands reaching out to grab it.
There is a set of beakers and cylinders full of colorful liquid.
“Wish” tells the origin story of the wishing star featured in several stories and Disney films.
The film is set in the kingdom of Rosas, ruled by King Magnifico. There are purple banners featuring a golden “M” on the tree.
The star on top is the Star character from “Wish.”
The tree also displays woodland creatures.
Disney Vacation Club Tree
Disney Vacation Club members are celebrated just like Annual Passholders with their own tree. This display is actually new this year.
The tree is covered in red poinsettias and ribbons.
There are vignettes of vacation scenes, like this resort patio including a tiny grill.
There’s a small stack of retro suitcases.
Blue medallions represent different Walt Disney World DVC resorts with their logos and names.
Other decorations include DVC snowflakes, tiny golf carts, and shiny baubles.
Disney+ Tree
Look back on your favorite Disney+ series or movie with the Disney+ tree.
It features tightly grouped blue and silver ornaments swirling around the tree like garland.
There are silver branches sticking out of the greenery.
Most of the ornaments feature images and posters representing various holiday and winter content available to stream on Disney+. These ornaments are inspired by “Home Alone.”
There’s a group of ornaments honoring “Dashing Through the Snow.”
“Frozen” is represented, as is “The Santa Clauses.”
The tree-topper is the Disney+ logo.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” Tree
The Guardians of the Galaxy tree has star ornaments and shiny baubles that look like planets.
Young Groot is on the tree, growing out of his pot.
There are also casette tapes.
Some ornaments resemble Spaceship Earth — maybe as a shout-out to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
Star-Lord’s helmet is on the top of the tree.
“Encanto” Tree
It looks like Isabela has been here as a rainbow of flowers wrap around the “Encanto” tree.
Each Madrigal family member’s door is in the tree, surrounded by small ornaments representing them, like these sound wave ornaments around the door of Dolores.
The door frames are also painted the character’s respective main color.
On top of the tree is one of the yellow butterflies from “Encanto,” perched on a reed.
Some of Antonio’s animal friends and his leopard toy are around his door.
Butterflies and golden keys are around Abuela’s door.
Mirabel gets her own door on the tree, surrounded by more butterflies.
“The Lion King” Tree
At the top of “The Lion King” tree are carvings of Rafiki’ hands lifting baby Simba.
The tree features animal print bows and African plants.
There are masks resembling those used in “The Lion King” on Broadway.
“The Nightmare Before Christmas” Tree
Of course, it wouldn’t be the holidays without “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
This tree, which is covered in colorful string lights, is topped with Zero’s dog house — complete with Zero flying around it.
There are pinstriped bows reminiscent of Jack’s suit.
Orange and black worms seem to crawl through the tree. The trick or treaters’ masks are displayed.
There is thin silver garland and large chunks of candy canes.
Some of the toys Jack gifts to children are near the bottom of the tree.
A large gold medallion features Jack and Sally’s silhouettes on the swirl hill.
Zero is holding a candy cane in his mouth and his dog house has a green star on it.
“Moana” Tree
Moana’s sailboat is on a blue ocean of tulle on one side of this tree.
There are coconut ornaments painted with the faces of the Kakamora.
Carved sea turtles represent the turtles Moana helped at the start of the film.
Hei Hei is included, with a coconut cup over his head.
There are tropical flowers.
At the top of the tree is the pile of flat rocks and Moana’s seashell.
The heart of Te Fiti glows green on one side of the tree.
One coconut is painted with Jack Skellington’s face, an homage to the neighboring tree.
Town Center Tree
In the Town Center is a more traditional tree wrapped in golden garland.
It has red and white striped bows, pinecones, and shiny baubles of varying sizes.
On top is a silver star.
“Toy Story” Tree
The “Toy Story” tree did not yet have a sign when we visited on Friday, November 10.
It’s wrapped in over-sized paper garland and decorated with “Toy Story” toys like Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, “The Big One” rocket, and the Pixar ball.
Mr. Potato Head is featured again wearing a Santa hat and beard.
There are also giant snowflakes and ornaments with pictures of “Toy Story” characters.
On top is the Angel Kitty from “Toy Story That Time Forgot.”
Mickey & Minnie Mouse Tree
Mickey and Minnie are represented by a tree covered in yellow and red decorations.
There are red bows with white polka-dots or yellow buttons.
The baubles are red, some with polka-dots, or gold and Mickey-shaped.
There are also solid yellow ornaments and red bells.
Minnie’s polka-dot bow is on top of the tree.
“Frozen” Tree
The “Frozen” tree looks like it’s about to freeze over with clear snowflake ornaments, silver branches, snow-dusted flowers, and icy garlands.
There are blue and white ribbons wrapped around the boughs.
Ornaments include ice skates, carrots, and reindeer.
“The Princess and the Frog” Tree
This Christmas tree is celebrating Mardi Gras early with a color scheme of purple, green, and gold.
A small orange tablecloth is topped with tiny treats.
Some quotes from the film are on strips in the tree.
Frogs peek out of green and purple flowers.
There are sparkling golden fleurs-de-lys ornaments.
A more ornate fleur-de-lys is on top.
A cutting board covered in pastries and baguettes is stuck into the tree. Around it are kitchen utensils and more bread products.
“Coco” Tree
Day of the Dead may have passed, but “Coco” is still represented in the Tree Stroll.
At the top of the tree is the portrait of Mama Coco, Mama Imelda, and Hector, held by a mariachi skeleton.
Garlands and bundles of orange marigolds are wrapped around the tree.
Other family portraits turn the tree into an ofrenda.
There are also quotes from the film.
Hector’s guitar and Miguel’s re-creation of it are next to each other.
There’s a small version of Panteon Santa Cecilia.
“Star Wars” Tree
Stormtroopers have invaded the “Star Wars” tree as their helmets are all over it.
C-3PO is on the top, however, representing the Rebellion.
There are also ornaments featuring the Imperial and Rebellion logos.
Chewbacca’s bandolier is wrapped around a section like garland.
A bow and quiver of arrows represent the Ewoks. There are also small Jawa ornaments.
Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber lights up one side of the tree.
Disney Treasure Topiary
Lastly, the Disney Cruise Line “tree” has returned after debuting last year. While it previously represented the Disney Wish, this year it represents the Disney Treasure.
The base has the golden wordmark of the Disney Treasure, but otherwise, the topiary cruise ship is almost identical to last year’s.
There are now tiny garlands wrapped around elements of the ship, like the stern and the supports of the AquaMouse.
There are also small pieces of holly on the filigree on the base.
