The stockings are hung, the trees are trimmed, and seasonal treats are now available across the Magic Kingdom. Over at Cheshire Café, guests can purchase the new Peppermint Éclair.

Cheshire Cafe can be found in Fantasyland across from Mad Tea Party.

This treat is available during regular daytime hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Peppermint Éclair – $6.79

Eclair filled with white chocolate peppermint mousse and topped with peppermint mousse and chocolate pieces

From a presentation standpoint, this Peppermint Éclair looks fun.

It has a light blue and white mousse topping with chocolate snowflake pieces on top. To us, it looks more like a “Frozen”-themed treat. When you cut into it, there’s a bright blue peppermint filling inside.

Our Éclair was light, moist, and fresh. We are sorry to say, however, that even if you are a peppermint lover, the taste here is more akin to mint-flavored toothpaste. The flavor is extremely strong.

This was our least favorite of all the daytime treats we tried today at Magic Kingdom. But if you’re a fan of an overwhelming mint flavor, you might enjoy it.
