Yoshi’s Snack Island in Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan is serving up two special winter treats this season: the red shell calzone and Yoshi’s holiday hot apple tea.

Red Shell Calzone – ¥850

with Cheese & Ketchup Spaghetti Fling

The calzone comes in a green wrapper featuring a red Yoshi. The red shell has a dinner roll texture and it’s stuffed with warm tomato sauce, cheese, and spaghetti. It may look like a small treat, but it’s filling.

The red shell calzone is nothing ground-breaking but kids will like it and it’s a good meal on the go.

Yoshi’s Holiday Hot Apple Tea – ¥ 700

This tastes like an authentic apple cider with some mulled wine flavors.

The drink itself isn’t too sweet, but the garnish of dried fruits and marshmallows adds a sweetness if that’s what you need. They complement the drink nicely.

This is also a kid-friendly treat.

It comes with a red cardboard sleeve featuring Yoshi, ornaments, and snowflakes.
