Aerial photographer bioreconstruct on X posted several images of the ongoing refurbishment of Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal Islands of Adventure.
Jurassic Park River Adventure closed in early January for an 11-month refurbishment.

An overview of River Adventure shows ongoing work throughout the attraction.

One area in particular that bio noticed was the paddock portion of the attraction. Scaffolding is completely covering it, suggesting a full retheme of this space.

It also appears the animatronic dinosaurs are getting a refurbishment. We can see that this Brachiosaurus has had its neck stripped down to the bare bones of the animatronic wiring. We can see wires coming off the (no) tail end as well.

The riverbed throughout the attraction has been painted green. This should give the water in the attraction a more wild look. The tracks were replaced per our update in March.

Over this past weekend, bio also captured photos of the attraction’s roof and gift shop getting refurbishments.
