BREAKING: New Castle Projection Show Coming to Tokyo Disneyland, 20th Anniversary Parade Planned for Hong Kong Disneyland

A new castle projection show is coming to Tokyo Disneyland, and a special 20th anniversary parade is being organized for Hong Kong Disneyland.

Confirmation of the new entertainment was given when music director Ron Colvard added them to his current itinerary. Colvard has worked with Disney numerous times on other projects, including Disneyland Forever and World of Color — One. The productions are just listed as “Tokyo Disneyland New Castle Projection Show” and “Hong Kong Disneyland 20th Anniversary Parade.”

There hasn’t been a castle projection show at Tokyo Disneyland since Celebrate Tokyo Disneyland’s short yet beloved run in 2018. Watch our video below.

Hong Kong Disneyland hasn’t had a parade since the COVID-19 closure in 2020, with the aging Flights of Fantasy Parade finally retiring at that time. Flights of Fantasy featured parade floats that were up to 40 feet high, more than 2 dozen Disney characters and over 100 performers in total. Watch Flights of Fantasy below.

Their nighttime parade Paint the Night has not returned either and it seems unlikely it will given the success of Momentous, a nighttime spectacular that debuted last year.

Hong Kong Disneyland opened on September 12, 2005, so a 20th anniversary parade would likely premiere in 2025.

No other information about the new shows has been revealed. What are you hoping to see in the castle projection show and 20th anniversary parade?
