Walt Disney World previously extended hours for three parks on New Year’s Eve and in early January 2024. Now Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are getting a few extra hours in the second week of January.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom will open an hour earlier, at 8 a.m., on January 2 and 3. The park will still close at 11 p.m. on these days.
On January 7, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., giving guests an extra two hours in the evening. On January 7, the park will open an extra hour early and stay open an extra hour, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Magic Kingdom will open at 9 a.m. from January 9 through 13 as previously scheduled but has some extra evening hours. From January 9 through 11, the park will be open until 10 p.m. On Friday, January 12, and Saturday, January 13, Magic Kingdom will be open until 11 p.m.
Early entry for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests begins a half hour before the park opens to regular guests, either at 7:30 a.m. or 8:30 a.m.
Extended evening hours for select hotel guests are scheduled for January 10 from 10 p.m. to midnight.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will stay open an extra hour on January 7, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early entry begins at 7:30 a.m.
No other extended hours have been announced for the second week of January 2024. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is still scheduled to be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. EPCOT will also be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. except on Sunday, January 7, when it doesn’t open until 10 a.m. EPCOT has extended evening hours for select hotel guests on Tuesday, January 8, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
