PHOTOS, VIDEO: Santa Goofy Replaces Santa Claus for EPCOT Meet and Greet

Santa Claus may be back at the North Pole for the season, but Santa Goofy is happily still meeting guests inside the Odyssey Pavilion in EPCOT.

Santa Goofy has taken his post inside of the massive sleigh in EPCOT’s Odyssey Pavilion to meet guests hoping to get their last moments of the 2023 holiday season. Santa Claus met guests in the location until December 24, 2023, as part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

The demand to meet Goofy in his Santa gear is as high as ever — we waited an hour in line for the meet and greet. The switchover from Santa Claus to Santa Goofy is nothing new, and happened around the same time last year.

Ever the ham, Santa Goofy was giving his best poses for all of the guests waiting to meet him.

On December 27, Santa Goofy was meeting guests from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and again at 4:10 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is likely he won’t be meeting guests for much longer, as the Festival of the Holidays comes to a close on December 30, 2023.
