“Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” will return to Disneyland Park in 2024 following a multi-year absence. The fireworks and projection effects display will take place during Pixar Fest, which will run across Disneyland Resort from April 26 through August 4, 2024.

Together Forever

The show previously debuted at Pixar Fest 2018 and ran throughout the duration event. It featured projection effects inspired by all 19 of Pixar’s films released to that point, even featuring music from several of the movies. Buzz Lightyear from the “Toy Story” franchise and Carl’s house, as seen in “Up,” flew above Sleeping Beauty Castle at points during the nighttime show.

Performances of “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” stopped entirely after its final show on September 3, 2018, that date coinciding with the culmination of Pixar Fest. Next year’s showings at Disneyland Park will mark the spectacular’s return following a five-plus year absence.

Disney has announced that the show will feature “some all new scenes;” though not confirmed, the additions will likely center around the Pixar films released between 2019 and 2023 considering that the previous show contained elements of all of the studio’s features. Pixar films released since the spectacular’s final performance include “Toy Story 4,” “Onward,” “Soul,” “Luca,” “Turning Red,” “Lightyear,” and “Elemental.”

Disney also announced that Pixar Fest will see exclusive food and merchandise introduced at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, the Downtown Disney District, and Disneyland Resort hotels. The “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” daytime parade will debut as part of the event, while the protagonists from more contemporary Pixar releases like “Elemental” and “Turning Red” will be available to interact with as meet-and-greet characters.
