Guests visiting the new Walt the Dreamer statue and taking in the scenic views of World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT on their opening day of December 5 will do so while listening to a brand new musical arrangement. A new background music loop composed by Pinar Toprak will debut in the World Celebration neighborhood EPCOT on December 5, Disney told media members on Monday.

Toprak has a history of collaborating with Disney, as in addition to composing 2019’s “Captain Marvel” for Marvel Studios, she helmed the “EPCOT Anthem” that plays at night by Spaceship Earth. She also worked with Disney Live Entertainment on the score for “Luminous: The Symphony of Us,” a new nighttime spectacular also debuting at EPCOT on December 5. Disney reportedly being unhappy with early versions of Toprak’s score for “Luminous: The Symphony of Us” resulted in the show’s delay.

The new background music loop will play in the World Celebration neighborhood, which will start to welcome guests on December 5 with the official opening of Dreamers Point, the Walt the Dreamer statue, and World Celebration Gardens. CommuniCore Hall and Plaza, which will also ultimately be part of the neighborhood’s offerings, will not open alongside the three aforementioned elements on December 5; construction on these areas remains ongoing.

World Celebration will be the last EPCOT neighborhood to open as part of the park’s multi-year reimagining that also saw the additions of the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure,  Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,  and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attractions. The park’s neighborhoods now include World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase.
