Arrest Made Following Hit-and-Runs Near Disneyland

A man was arrested in connection with the fatal hit-and-run crashes near Disneyland Resort earlier this month.

54-year-old Santa Ana resident Kien Do was arrested on Wednesday, January 17 on “suspicion of vehicle manslaughter with gross negligence, assault with a deadly weapon and hit and run with injury,” according to The OC Register.

The hit-and-runs, which we reported on earlier this month, occurred on the evening of Friday, January 5, first around the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue where the driver stuck three people at the intersection. The driver then drove to the Harbor Boulevard and Convention Way intersection where he struck 75-year-old Judith Stanford, who later died at the hospital.

The Anaheim PD encourages anyone with information about the hit and runs to reach out at 714-765-1900 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
