New Baymax-Inspired Ear Headbands, Mugs, and Tie-Dye Sweatshirt Arrive at Disney California Adventure

A handful of new Baymax-inspired merchandise has arrived in San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure, featuring everyone’s favorite personal healthcare companion, as well as Aunt Cass and Hiro’s pet cat, Mochi.

We found all of these items in the San Fransokyo Maker’s Market in the land.

Baymax & Mochi Ear Headband – $34.99

A reporter holds up the Baymax and Mochi ear headband.

This ear headband takes a simple yet cute approach to depicting Baymax. The overall color of the headband is white, with a soft orange velour lining the interior. The right ear features Baymax’s face, with his simplistic two circles and one connecting line design.

The left ear includes overlapped pink and green Band-Aids, showing that these ears did receive some recent care.

Standing in as the “bow” for the ear headband is none other than Mochi, Aunt Cass and Hiro’s pet cat. In “Big Hero 6,” Baymax fondly refers to him as a “hairy baby.” Mochi is represented as a stuffed plush perched in between the ears, and sports a very happy smile.

There is nothing on the back of the ears.

Disney Munchlings Baymax S’Mores Ear Headband – $34.99

This ear headband offers a more miniaturized version of the giant Baymax S’mores Disney Munchlings plush that was available in San Fransokyo Square when the land first opened. The headband is wrapped in a white velour with a toasted brown interior.

Both “ears” are represented with plush Baymax S’Mores, blushing and topped with melted chocolate and a graham cracker hat.

The bow at the center is also plush, and looks like more graham cracker dipped in chocolate.

Baymax Mug with Lid – $24.99

A round mug in the shape of Baymax sits on a store shelf.

This mug takes inspiration from Baymax’s round shape, with his head serving as the lid and his body being the actual drinking receptacle. The mug and lid are packaged together for easy travel.

The mug’s handle is also molded, giving it a sort of “inflated” look to match the character’s design. The mug can hold up to 17 ounces of liquid, or 482 milliliters. It is both dishwasher- and microwave-safe.

Also matching last year’s Disney Munchlings plush is yet another Baymax mug. This mug is essentially a replica of the plush, with his graham cracker hat serving as the lid.

For this mug, Baymax is depicted as a giant marshmallow, topped with melted chocolate and perched between two golden graham crackers. The handle of the mug is also white, to match Baymax.

The mug can hold up to 16 ounces of liquid, or 455 milliliters. It is dishwasher- and microwave-safe.

Baymax Red Tie-Dye Sweatshirt – $54.99

A red tie-dye sweatshirt featuring Baymax sits on a clothing rack.

The final new addition we spotted while visiting the park is this new tie-dye sweatshirt. It is mostly red with deeper red, almost burgundy tie-dye splotches.

A closer look at the art of Baymax on the sweatshirt.

Screen-printed art of Baymax’s outline is featured on the front of the sweatshirt, with the left sleeve including his name printed in bubble lettering down the length.

There is nothing printed on the right sleeve or the back of the sweatshirt.

This past week, Baymax and Hiro were made the stars of the newest Disney California Adventure guidemap cover.
