Despite holding its opening today, Pixar Place Hotel still has two new signature suites yet to debut, both themed to popular Pixar films.

Pixar Place Hotel Signature Suites Opening at a Later Date

Opening “later this year” according to Disney Parks Blog, the new two-bedroom themed signature suites will be the Coco Suite and Incredibles suite, themed to those respective films. The former will “pay tribute to Miguel and his family’s legacy through vibrant Oaxacan art,” while the latter will “have a midcentury design with a ‘spy-fy’ twist, complete with Parr family memorabilia.” Concept art or other imagery for these rooms was not shared.

“Coco” is a 2017 Pixar animated film directed by Lee Unkrich and co-directed by Adrian Molina. It stars the voices of Anthony Gonzalez as Miguel, alongside Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Renee Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguia, and Edward James Olmos. In the film, 12-year-old Miguel is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased great-great-grandfather to return him to his family, who has banned music altogether.

“The Incredibles,” released in 2004, is written and directed by Brad Bird and stars the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Jason Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, and more. The film follows the Parr family of superheroes as they attempt to live a quiet life and hide their powers. A former fan of Mr. Incredible turns into a foe, and puts the safety of the entire family, and the world, in jeopardy.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World refurbished its guest rooms to have more of an “Incredibles” feel in 2021. We toured one of the theme park view rooms, which we thought was less than incredible.

Pixar Place Hotel, formerly Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, opened to guests today amid its reimagining and name change. The signature suites aren’t the only hotel offering opening later; the Small Bytes rooftop bar won’t open until March, but we got a chance to check out the full menu (with prices).

Do you hope to stay in either the Coco or Incredibles suites once they open this year? Let us know in the comments.
