According to data compiled by Whip Media, “The Mandalorian” on Disney+ was the most-watched original streaming series in the U.S.A. in 2023.

The eight-episode third season of “The Mandalorian” aired on Disney+ from March 1, 2023, to April 19, 2023. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, who travels the galaxy with Grogu, affectionately known by fans as “Baby Yoda.” Katee Sackhoff also starred as Bo-Katan Kryze in season three. The show scored nine Emmy Awards nominations.
“The Mandalorian” beat out Marvel’s “Loki,” also on Disney+, which came in at number two on the list of most-watched original streaming series. “Loki” season two aired from October 5, 2023, to November 9, 2023. It featured Jonathan Majors as variants of Kang the Conquerer in the actor’s final appearance in the MCU. He was dropped by Marvel after the season finished airing when he was found guilty of assault.
Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso,” which came to an end this year, was number three, followed by Netflix’s “You” at number four. Disney streamer Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” (which earned 11 Emmy nominations and five Golden Globe nominations) was number five. Netflix’s “Black Mirror” was number six.
Another Marvel series, “Secret Invasion,” reached number seven on the list. The entire mini-series, starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, aired this year. Number nine was another “Star Wars” series: “Ahsoka” starring Rosario Dawson as the titular character.
The list was finished out with FX and Hulu’s “The Bear” at number eight and Netflix’s “The Witcher” at number 10.
Rankings were determined by streaming series with the greatest share of viewers from January 1 to November 30, 2023.
