Dole Whip Cherry and Lime swirls into Sprite with Strawberry Boba Pearls, Rock Candy, Seashells, and an edible Ariel image

This float is made for anyone craving a tart treat. The cherry and lime Dole Whip flavors pair well together, but it’s the cherry flavor that really stands out. The addition of the Sprite does help to enhance the lime taste, but the cherry was still predominant. We found that the cherry and lime were so strong that we couldn’t taste any of the strawberry flavor coming from the boba pearls. Also, though they’re labeled as boba pearls, these are more like popping pearls, as they are not chewy.

When it comes to appearances, this new float is certainly a perfect treat for any fans of the 1989 classic, “The Little Mermaid.” The Ariel image is a chocolate coin, and the sea shells and seahorse are made of sugar. We found them to be softer than other sugar details added to treats, likely because they were soaking in the Dole Whip.

If you like that tart, cherry flavor, this one is definitely worth picking up, however if you’re cherry-averse we’d suggest avoiding as this float as you may find it to taste a bit like cough syrup. We’d give the Little Mermaid Float a 6.3 out of 10. While it was tasty and looked cute, there are definitely better Dole Whip float options.
