“The Marvels” will begin streaming on Disney+ on February 7, 2024. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film was released in theaters on November 10, 2023.

The “Captain Marvel” sequel is among several recent Disney films to underperform at the box office. It had the worst-ever second-week drop for Marvel Studios, dropping 79% from a $47 million opening weekend to just $10.2 million in its second weekend.

The film stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, alongside Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan. The film acts as a sequel to “Captain Marvel,” as well as a follow-up to Monica’s “WandaVision” story and the “Ms. Marvel” Disney+ series.
