Magic Kingdom

• Before Country Bear Jamboree as we know it closes to make way for its reimagining, the attraction will extend its operating hours to accommodate larger crowds on its final day at Magic Kingdom.
• The Pinocchio Village Haus restrooms at Magic Kingdom are now closed for refurbishment.
• Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom will return to its twice-daily performances next month.

EPCOT

• In addition to the new Hei Hei Annual Passholder magnet, EPCOT will also offer a Passholder-exclusive Hei Hei Liege waffle at Connections Cafe.
• Pricing has been released for the Garden Rocks Dining Packages for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Walt Disney Presents will close for refurbishment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting in mid-February.

Other Walt Disney World News

• Walt Disney World has announced that their next Annual Passholder magnet will feature none other than Hei Hei from “Moana.”
• The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District has filed a new response to Disney’s Motion to Compel Discovery, saying that “Disney’s smoking gun is filled with blanks.”

Disneyland Resort

• Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders will be able to get complimentary patches during this year’s Disneyland After Dark events, starting with Sweethearts’ Nite.
• The refurbishment of the Mark Twain Riverboat at Disneyland Park has been extended another week.
• Disneyland has shared new concept art and other details about dining offerings coming to the Downtown Disney District, including Parkside Market, a two-story Earl of Sandwich, and more.

Shanghai Disneyland

• Shanghai Disney Resort has released the first piece of concept art for their third hotel, which began construction in September 2023.

Disney Cruise Line

• We dined at Tiana’s Place for lunch on the second day of our Alaska sailing on the Disney Wonder, and gave the experience a review.

Entertainment and Media

• Gillian Anderson has joined the cast of “TRON 3” or “TRON: Ares” in an undisclosed role. Filming on the new sequel began last week.

The Walt Disney Company

• In a new press release, investment firm Blackwells Capital has taken a shot at Nelson Peltz and Trian Group, saying that they have not “offered a single strategic idea that would benefit [Disney] shareholders.”
