Themes for the runDisney Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend events have been announced. The event takes place from September 5-8, 2024 at Disneyland Resort.
Trick or Treat Halloween 5K
The 5K is Trick or Treat themed with Chip in a pirate costume and Dale in an astronaut costume on the art. This race will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024.
Registration fees depend on the date of purchase:
- February 13, 2024 – August 12, 2024: $120.00
- Beginning August 13, 2024: $130.00
Haunted Mansion 10K
Beware hitchhiking ghosts on the Halloween 10K featuring the Haunted Mansion. This race will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Registration fees depend on the date of purchase:
- February 13, 2024 – August 12, 2024: $175.00
- Beginning August 13, 2024: $185.00
Half Marathon
The Half Marathon is “Hocus Pocus” themed with a Disney twist — it features Minnie as Winifred, Daisy as Sarah, Clarabelle as Mary, and Figaro as Binx. The Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
Registration fees depend on the date of purchase:
- February 13, 2024 – August 12, 2024: $260.00
- Beginning August 13, 2024: $270.00
Kids Races
The kids races are themed to “Cars” and will be divided by age groups: 0-1, 1-3, 4-6, and 7-9. Early registration is not available and general registration opens on February 13, 2024, at 7 a.m. PT. The kids races have a registration fee of $40. The kids’ races will occur on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Chills & Thrills Challenge
The Chills & Thrills Challenge is for racers who complete the 10K and the Half Marathon. The registration fee includes both races, and participants will receive medals for both races plus the challenge medal.

- February 13, 2024 – August 12, 2024: $440.00
- Beginning August 13, 2024: $460.00
General registration for the runDisney Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend begins on February 13, 2024, at 7 a.m. PT.
Club runDisney Gold and Platinum members can register starting on February 6, 2024, at 7 a.m. PT.
