With the addition of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to the Walt Disney World and Disneyland official websites, the height requirement has been confirmed.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Height Requirement

Guests will need to be 40″ (102cm) or taller to ride. This is the same as the former Splash Mountain, which Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has taken over. The attraction will use the same ride system as its predecessor, meaning there was no change to the existing requirements.

Though not opening until later this year, the new ride is now listed on the Walt Disney World website and Disneyland Resort website. Here is the ride’s description on the former:

Splash Mountain closed permanently at Magic Kingdom in January 2023 and at Disneyland in May 2023. As such, construction of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is further along at Magic Kingdom. A Tiana’s Bayou Adventure pin was just released at Walt Disney World as was a popcorn bucket featuring Tiana. Tiana will be featured on some Celebrate Soulfully food items.

Tiana’s Palace opened at Disneyland Park this past September. Read our review of every Tiana’s Palace menu item. Princess Tiana debuted a new outfit for the restaurant’s opening. She’ll also appear in a new adventuring outfit for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
