The Figment topiary has a new location for this year’s EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival — the center of World Celebration.
Figment Topiary
When we arrived at EPCOT on Tuesday morning, we saw crew members putting the finishing touches on the large pink flower topiaries that encircle Figment. The display is located in the EPCOT logo planter in the World Celebration Gardens, which opened in December 2023 after years of construction. The Figment topiary has previously been located outside the Imagination! Pavilion.
This marks the first EPCOT festival to use the World Celebration Gardens as the concept art for the area indicated. During the two previous festivals that have occurred since this area opened, the planter has been left blank.
The Figment topiary is the same design as in previous years. There are six giant pink flowers around him and he faces away from Spaceship Earth for the ideal photo opportunity. At night, this area is illuminated with lights synched to the Spaceship Earth light shows.
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival begins on February 28 and runs through May 27. Other topiaries already installed include a new Goofy topiary, a “Lady & the Tramp” display, a Norway troll, and pandas.
New topiaries this year will be inspired by “Wish,” “Coco,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Check out the full list of topiaries and global gardens.
