The new original series was first announced in 2020, with a first look and additional details released in 2022. All six episodes will premiere on Disney+ on February 28, 2024. It’s a sci-fi series set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria (“iwájú” means “the future” in the Yoruba language).
