A new Walt Disney World ticket price increase has been announced.
Single-day, single-park tickets, which are priced on a date-based fluctuating scale, have increased, with the base price rising from $109 to $119. The other scale values have risen by $5-$10 as well. The last time these prices were increased was in December of 2022.
As an example, we searched for the “1 Park Per Day” option for both August 21, 2024 and August 21, 2025, and tickets for each of the four Walt Disney World parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom — had gone up $10 dollars. It is worth noting that tickets are currently only available for purchase up until October of 2025, so both the minimum and maximum prices could change when November and December dates are released.
The price of the ticket fluctuates throughout the year, depending on what time you visit, meaning each park has a range of prices. Here’s a breakdown of those prices:
- Magic Kingdom — $144-$189
- EPCOT — $129-$184
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios —$139-$184
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom — $119-$169
For comparison, here’s a look at the single day, single park ticket from the last time there was a price increase:
- Magic Kingdom — $124-$189
- EPCOT — $114-$179
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios —$124-$179
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom — $109-$159
Multi-day tickets have risen in conjunction at about the same rate of $5-10 more per day. Again using August 2024 and August 2025 as examples, you can see in the calendars below the $5-$10 increase per day on the prices.
The new prices will be effective for visits beginning on January 1, 2025.

When do they start using those prices? Can I book my trip just within 1 year prior, let’s say, August of 2024 (for aug of 2025), will the prior price be used, or will the new price be used?
and to think you just had an article asking if di$ney was a rip off?
If your going anyway and a $5 – $10 increase is making you reconsider your trip, then maybe, you shouldn’t be going at all!
