REVIEW: Seasonal Mickey-Shaped Grape Beignets Offer Nostalgic Flavor at Disneyland Resort

Brit Tuttle

New seasonal Mickey-shaped grape beignets have arrived at Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland Park, and we gave them a try on a recent visit to the park.

Mint Julep Bar is located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park, just off to the right from the New Orleans Station for the Disneyland Railroad.

A set of three Mickey-shaped grape beignets sit in a ripped-open paper bag.

These are the same great Mickey-shaped beignets you know, but with a twist in the form of a 1980s grape candy flavor. It comes off as slightly medicinal, but that can come across as nostalgic for those who grew up with such flavors of sweets.

The beignets are perfectly fried as always, and are light and airy. We’d certainly recommend you try them if you have the chance.
