A new monthly cookie has arrived at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs to celebrate the start of February, The Strawberry Delight.

This month’s menu card features Margaret, a lovelorn bride from beyond the grave.

Her story is detailed on the back of the card, which you can read below:

We’re all familiar with ’til death do us part, but what if the opposite were true? When Margaret was sadly taken before her time, all seemed lost. Sometimes, though, the bond of love is stronger than the grip of the beyond. Though part of the spirit world, Margaret returns daily to exchange vows wth her beloved. A pledge the two made before her passing and will conitnue ot make until her lover has lived their final day and the two can be reunited somewhere beyond the veil.

The other cookie for February is The Eternal Flame, which was offered last year for February. We reviewed that cookie as well.

Our reviewer thinks this is the best Gideon’s Bakehouse cookie they’ve ever had. It’s perfectly sweet. If you’re not a fan of strawberries themselves but still enjoy strawberry-flavored sweets, you’ll enjoy this.

The cookie is not hard, but not so soft and gooey that it falls apart. For us, the texture is just right. It reminds us of Japanese strawberry-flavored chocolate, like Chocoball Strawberry or Meiji Apollo Strawberry.

We would highly recommend trying this cookie on your next visit to Disney Springs, and think it’s much better than this month’s other special cookie, The Eternal Flame.

We can easily give this a perfect rating. Normally we can’t eat the entire Gideon’s cookie by ourselves in one sitting, but this is a rare find.
