Fans of Marvel and Star Wars Disney+ series are in luck, as four of them are coming to 4K UHD and Blu-ray.
More Physical Media Releases for Disney+ Series
Starting April 30, fans can purchase 4K UHD and Blu-ray Steelbook editions of “Andor,” “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and “Moon Knight.” Pre-orders begin on March 12. Prices have not yet been confirmed, but will likely fall at $54.99, as they have been in the past.
Each series will feature new box art designed by Attila Szarka, collectible cards featuring concept art, and bonus features that include documentaries, gag reels, deleted scenes, and more.
‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’
Debuting on March 19, 2021, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” follows friends of Captain America, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson as they take center stage in their own adventure. It stars Anthony Mackie as Sam and Sebastian Stan as Bucky.
‘Moon Knight’
“Moon Knight” premiered on Disney+ on March 30, 2022. The series stars Oscar Issac playing a man with dissociative identity disorder, who is simultaneously Marc Spector, Moon Knight, Steven Grant, Mr. Knight, and Jake Lockley.
‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’
“Obi-Wan Kenobi” sees the return of Ewan McGregor as the titular character, Obi-Wan Kenobi, following his turn as the character in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy. The series premiered on Disney+ on May 27, 2022.
‘Andor’
The first season of “Andor” premiered on September 21, 2022, and featured”Rogue One” character, Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) in a prequel series to the film. “Andor” was recently announced to be a new addition to Star Tours in Walt Disney World, Disneyland Park, and Disneyland Paris.
This is not the first time Disney has released physical media of their Disney+ series. Last year, 4K UHD and Blu-ray Steelbook editions of their series “Loki,” “WandaVision,” and “The Mandalorian” were all released.
