Over the years, we’ve been working hard to keep our Star Wars experiences in Disney Parks evolving alongside that expanding galaxy far, far away. That is also part of what makes Star Tours – The Adventures Continue so special. So now, I am excited to share that, starting April 5, 2024, at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be taking you on some all-new adventures. These new additions will feature characters and locations from some of your favorite Disney+ new series – “Ahsoka,” “Andor,” and “The Mandalorian.”
The additions of “The Mandalorian” and “Andor” come along with the already-announced inclusion of “Ahsoka.” During the “A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” panel at last year’s Destination D23 in September, it was revealed that Ahsoka Tano, a character originally introduced in the 2008 animated film, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” would be added to Star Tours. “Ahsoka,” the series starring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano has been a success for Disney+, with a second season confirmed earlier this year.
As guests take flight on the Starspeeder, they can meet characters including Ahsoka, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin, and Grogu, in addition to the characters guests know and love from Star Tours.
With all three of the Disney+ series coming to the attractions, guests will now be able to experience more than 250 storyline variations. New locations will include the planet Peridea, as seen in “Ahsoka.”
