Pugh, who portrays Yelena Belova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared the video on her Instagram account with the caption, “@jakeschreier [Jake Schreier] and I have been hanging out..,” several emojis representing the film, and “#Thunderbolts*”.

“Hey guys, how you doing?” the actress says as she exits a trailer marked “Yelena.” “I know that I’ve kind of dropped off for a little beat but that’s partly because I was whisked off to Atlanta to go and shoot a movie that I’m not really allowed to talk much about.”

Pugh appears in a new black and green tactical suit similar to what Yelena wears in the “Thunderbolts” concept art (below). She also has short hair, a first for Yelena, who last appeared in “Hawkeye.”

She takes viewers from her trailer to the set, saying, “But I can show you some things, sneakily, as long as you don’t tell anyone.” She whispers as an alarm indicates shooting begins.

Pugh approaches director Jake Schreier and asks, “What are we allowed to say we’re doing?”

Schreier responds, “I don’t even think you’re allowed to be doing this.”

“I know, someone is going to come and rugby tackle me,” Pugh says.

Pugh shows off “Thunderbolts*” (asterisk included) on the backs of chairs and gives viewers a look at some footage Schreier is reviewing — a shot of herself as Yelena brandishing a gun.
