The ears are a cream color with dark blue piping around the edge. The headband is light blue and white. The bow between the ears resembles a block of Swiss cheese.

Remy on ear

Remy is depicted in shades of blue and purple. He’s pictured on the right ear relaxing with his chef’s hat next to him. Golden filigree is around the edge of the ear.

Emile on ear

Emile, Remy’s brother, is a round brown rat. He’s on the left ear, covered in food crumbs. Light blue filigree is around this ear.

The bow is made of two layers of yellow pleather. The light top layer has holes so the darker lower layer shows through.

Plaid backs of ears

The backs of the ears and the outside of the headband feature a blue and white plaid pattern. In the squares of the plaid are fleurs-de-lys. The inside of the headband is solid blue velour.

Disneyland Resort has the “Ratatouille” ear headband and a matching bucket hat, which we expect to find at Walt Disney World soon.

“Ratatouille” is a 2007 Pixar film following Remy, a rat who dreams of being a chef, and Linguini, a young man recently hired at the prestigious Gusteau restaurant in Paris. “Ratatouille” inspired the theme park ride Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, which opened at Disneyland Paris 10 years ago. A second version, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, opened at EPCOT in 2021. Watch our ride video below.
