The fan-favorite Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl cookie has returned as the flavor of the month at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs.

This month’s mascot is Thaddeus Bubo, who brings a message: “Protect the owls, for one day, they may be all that can protect you.” Select proceeds from special items this month will go to Central Florida’s Audubon Center for Birds of Prey to raise money for owl conservation.

Peanut butter dough, triple chocolate dough, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, house-made candied peanuts

This is a fantastic take on the classic flavor combination of chocolate and peanut butter. True to Gideon’s legacy, the cookie is smothered in chocolate and peanut butter chips. It’s very rich.

This is one of our favorites here. It’s unique in that it’s more like a chocolate-filled peanut butter cookie, almost like eating two cookies at once.

Both flavors are very rich, so if you’re not a peanut butter fan, you’ll want to skip this.
