Crews have begun to remove scrim and fencing around the new Cast Member building at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as construction in the area wraps up.

Cast Member Building Construction

Scrim and walls next to Pioneer Hall

The new structure is located next to Pioneer Hall. Scrim, fencing, and construction walls run right up to Pioneer Hall, next to the Information & Tickets window.

The building’s purpose hasn’t been officially confirmed. It’s on the former site of Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

The one-story building is dark brown, matching other nearby architecture.

Scrim and fencing

The fence and scrim now stop just a few yards from the building. They run behind a short hedge.

Crews have installed lots of plants and trees in the past few weeks. One large tree is right next to the new building.

Cast Members only sign on new sidewalk

A fresh white pathway leads from the gray sidewalk to the new building and toward the Cast Member road. An A-frame sign informs guests the area is for Cast Members only.

Flowerbeds are ready for more foliage to be planted. We saw some crew members working among the plants.

New Cast Member road and parking lot

Where the Cast-only road meets North Wilderness Road is a new parking lot on the corner. This area was just dirt a month ago. It’s now open for Cast Members to park their cars.

Some orange cones and temporary fencing block part of the pathway leading to the new building. It looks like major construction on this side of the road is done and just horticulture work remains.
