Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village has five new dessert items inspired by some of the animals on the resort’s savannah.
New Sanaa Desserts
Disney shared photos and details of the new desserts on Instagram. The desserts are also now listed on the Sanaa lunch and dinner menus on the Walt Disney World website. They replace African Triple Chocolate Mousse, Serradura, Kheer, and Pumbaa’s Dessert Grub.
Giraffe Tower Mousse – $12
The Giraffe Tower Mousse is banana cake, peanut butter mousse, banana mousse, and caramel with Tanzanian peanut brittle crunch. There is a giraffe-inspired pattern on the mousse.
Black Sesame Sundae – $10
This dessert is black sesame ice cream, roasted spiced pineapple, tea caramel, milk crumble, and raspberry crisps.
Wilde-best Wildebeest – $11
The Wilde-best Wildebeest is a flourless chocolate cake with milk chocolate custard and chocolate fudge-coated cocoa nibs.
Ankole Cake – $11
The Ankole Cake is spiced chocolate cake featuring baobab curd, coconut gel, meringue horns, and STARR African Rum-macerated citrus.
Timon Grubs – $3.25
Timon Grubs is the new dessert for kids. It’s banana pastry cream, whipped cream, sliced bananas, graham cracker bugs, gummy worms, and chocolate rocks.
The new desserts are available at Sanaa as of Wednesday, March 6.
