The summary judgment hearing is now scheduled for July 25, 2024. It was previously scheduled for December but, after Disney asked for it to be moved, it was delayed to March 12. Disney filed another Motion for Continuance in January but this new delay seems to be at the request of the District.

The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is suing Disney at the state level to nullify the company’s development agreement with the former Reedy Creek Improvement District. Disney initially sued the District and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after the District attempted to declare the agreement void. Disney has also countersued the District regarding public records requests.
