Walt Disney World is asking guests in an emailed survey about their queue preference for TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom.
TRON Lightcycle / Run Virtual Queue
The survey asks, “Which of the following statements best describes your preference for riding an attraction such as TRON Lightcycle / Run?” The response options are:
- “I prefer the virtual queue system”
- “I prefer the traditional standby queue system”
- “Not interested in riding an attraction like TRON Lightcycle / Run”
The roller-coaster has not had a standby queue available since its grand opening almost a year ago. Guests have only been able to use a virtual queue or purchase individual Lightning Lane access.
Guests can attempt to join the virtual queue with the My Disney Experience app at 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. At 7 a.m., guests don’t need to be in the park, but at 1 p.m., they must be in Magic Kingdom (read about how virtual queues are affected by Park Hopping). Guests can only join the virtual queue once per day. Virtual queue boarding groups are limited and not guaranteed. They are notified via the app when their boarding group is called and have a limited amount of time to then board the attraction.
Individual Lightning Lane prices vary depending on the day, with the TRON ride priced around $20 in recent weeks.
