A special event will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to celebrate the park’s 35th anniversary.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will kick off its 35th year with a ceremony at the Theater of the Stars. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m., with a presentation that includes park representatives and surprise characters. Due to the event, the 11 a.m. showing of Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage that takes place at the Theater of the Stars will be canceled. The afternoon and evening shows will presumably go on as usual, though no time changes are currently reflected on the official Walt Disney World Calendar.
In addition to the ceremony, guests will also be able to purchase limited-time 35th anniversary merchandise via virtual queue. More offerings for the celebration are expected to be announced by Disney in the coming days.
