BREAKING: Park Hopping Currently Unavailable for Magic Kingdom

Guests hoping to utilize Park Hopping to Magic Kingdom may be out of luck, as the option is currently unavailable.

Park Hopping Unavailable to Magic Kingdom

On April 4, around 1 p.m., the option to Park Hop to Magic Kingdom was made unavailable on the My Disney Experience app. Guests who already made park reservations could enter Magic Kingdom and were not to be impacted by the change. Park Hopping was set to be available for guests all day, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

This block out for Magic Kingdom Park Hopping includes Annual Passholders, even past the once-mandatory 2 p.m. start time, as we were given the above update on the My Disney Experience app. Per Guest Relations, all guests attempting to enter Magic Kingdom without a reservation would be stopped at the Transportation & Ticket Center.

However, if you have a dining reservation but no park reservation for the Magic Kingdom, and are an Annual Passholder, you will be allowed into the park with just enough time to make it to your reservation comfortably.

We last saw Park Hopping become unavailable to guests on October 1, 2021, brought on by the high capacity for the 50th anniversary of the park. Overall, this spring break season has been a busy one for Walt Disney World. By 9:30 a.m on April 4, Genie+ options had sold out for Multiple Parks, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These Genie+ sell outs have been common in recent weeks, with options selling out on March 11, March 13, and March 29.
