The Country Bear Jamboree sign has been covered in scrim. The attraction officially closed its doors on January 26 to make way for an updated performance from the Country Bears. A new sign is likely on the way, as the attraction is due to reopen this summer.

Country Bear Musical Jamboree was first announced during Destination D23 in September 2023. It differs from the previous iteration of the attraction as it will now feature Disney songs being performed by the Country Bears in different genres of country music.

The set list will include a new version of “The Bear Necessities.” Fans of Country Bear Jamboree will note references to the original show, including a familiar tune. The 2024 update will also see a change to one of the performers, as Liver Lips McGrowl will be reimagined as Romeo McGrowl.

The Country Bear Jamboree opened with Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971. You can learn more about the attraction at Magic Kingdom and around the world in our Complete History of the Country Bear Jamboree.
