Tokyo Disney Resort has unveiled new details about the “Fantasy Springs — A New Chapter Begins” exhibit opening at Ikspiari.
Fantasy Springs — A New Chapter Begins
Coming to the second floor of Ikspiari, the shopping and dining complex of Tokyo Disney Resort, “Fantasy Springs — A New Chapter Begins,” will showcase the history of Tokyo DisneySea, including details surrounding the opening of the park’s newest land, Fantasy Springs.
The exhibition will open on June 6, the same day as the grand opening of Fantasy Springs. It will remain open through September 30. Guests can reserve tickets beginning May 7. Reservations are recommended. Details for ticket purchases can be found on the Tokyo Disney Resort site.
Located inside Trail & Track, tickets will cost ¥1,300 for adults, ¥1,000 for junior high and high school students, ¥700 for children, and free for children under 3. Discounts may be available for those with park tickets during the exhibition window, “Wonderful Disney” memberships, Disney Hotel or dining reservations, or a Disney JCB card.
Tokyo Disney Resort has revealed a list of exhibit highlights, which includes:
- Story of the Birth of Tokyo DisneySea – Guests can discover concept art, photos, and construction footage reflecting on the creation of Tokyo DisneySea.
- Story Behind “Fantasy Springs” – This immersive experience will feature three screens with projections from “Peter Pan,” “Tangled,” and “Frozen,” along with footage inside Fantasy Springs.
- Journey to the Grand Opening of “Fantasy Springs” – Here, guests will get to know those who contributed to the creation of Fantasy Springs.
- Exhibition of Models and Costumes from “Fantasy Springs” – In this portion of the exhibit, there will be a 1/25 scale model of Fantasy Springs, along with props and Cast Member costumes from the land.
Opening June 6, Fantasy Springs is the eighth port to open at Tokyo DisneySea. Themed to a magical spring, it will be home to three different areas, each centered on a different Disney Animation property: “Peter Pan,” “Tangled,” and Frozen.” It also features the in-park accommodation, Fantasy Springs Hotel.
