A Loungefly mini backpack themed to “The Lion King” has made its way to Walt Disney World.
“The Lion King” Loungefly Mini Backpack – $88
Spotted at Creations Shop in EPCOT, this “The Lion King” mini backpack features Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa as they keep their eyes on some grub. The backpack references the “Hakuna Matata” musical number in the 1994 animated film.
We previously saw this backpack in Disneyland. Though not specifically a part of the 30th anniversary collection for “The Lion King,” the backpack does arrive timed with the celebration.
The Simba portion of the backpack can be moved up and down. The front flap pocket has a shiny vinyl grub and a magnetic closure.
On one side of the backpack, various grubs crawl out of a hole in a tree.
On the other side, the insects crawl around a mound of dirt.
The backpack features a top carry handle and padded, adjustable straps. At the bottom right is the drawing of Simba done by Rafiki in the film.
The interior has a colorful print of different insects. The back closes with a double zip pull made of gold-tone hardware. It is also available to purchase online at the Disney Store.
