Tokyo Disney Resort has shared extensive photos detailing Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, one of the new attractions in Fantasy Springs, which opens this summer.
Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure
Exterior
Cast Members will wear costumes inspired by Never Land, featuring pirate-like waistbands, straw hats, and colorful vests.
Guests enter at a rocky outcrop with greenery and flowers on top.
The sign resembles a ship’s sail.
Queue
The queue travels from outside to inside, taking guests through a series of caves full of detritus and shipwreck parts before leading to the Lost Boys’ hideout.
Many of the props feature doodles by the Lost Boys.
The railings of the queue resemble green and tan bamboo. Nets are stretched between the poles.
As the queue moves further inside, the light shifts to make it appear the sun is setting.
Michael’s toy bear is in a hanging crib made of a barrel.
Guests walk through denser trees with lanterns hanging from the branches.
There are signs of Tinker Bell among the plants.
Clouds in the “sky” create the silhouettes of various characters, including Peter Pan and icons.
The Lost Boys’ hideout is in the trees above guests. Bridges are made of branches and wood planks.
Before loading, guests pass through a pre-show room where they meet Peter and the Lost Boys on a screen.
Guests then grab their goggles (3D glasses).
Guests are then inside the Lost Boys’ hideout, which is decorated with tapestries and drawings.
Guests load into pirate ship-inspired ride vehicles.
There’s a return station for goggles at the end of the ride.
On Ride
This 3D attraction will have guests join Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Kids as they rescue John from Captain Hook and his band of pirates.
It utilizes screens and projections among real sets.
Guests get to see Peter fight Captain Hook.
They also fly over London with Peter, Tink, Wendy, and her brothers.
At Never Land, Peter leads guests into the Lost Boys’ hideout.
They travel through a forest similar to the one in the queue.
There are appearances by Tick-Tock the Croc.
And Tinker Bell helps guests fly.
Look out for waterfalls!
