Disney has announced five new or changing offerings at this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Updates
Mickey and Minnie Mouse will have new Halloween costumes this year. The outfits are purple and green with spiderweb designs. Mickey’s is a tuxedo with a top hat while Minnie is channeling a witch.
There will be more Disney Villains sightings at this year’s events: “From the moment Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins and throughout Magic Kingdom you’ll be able to spot your favorite sinister villains and ghoulish foes! Who knows, you might even get to take a selfie with them.”Â
Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland will host the new DescenDANCE Party inspired by “Descendents: The Rise of the Red.” The new film will premiere on Disney+ on July 12.
Bruno Madrigal will meet and greet at Walt Disney World for the first time, joining his niece Mirabel at their Casita in Fairytale Garden. Bruno joined the Disney Adventure Friends cavalcade last fall. Beginning in 2022, he had a meet and greet during Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure.
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will have an earlier start time to accommodate young guests who might need to leave early for bed time.
Returning offerings include “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks hosted by Jack Skellington, the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” stage show, trick-or-treating throughout the park, and Halloween overlays at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Space Mountain, and Mad Tea Party. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be among the attractions open during events.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party with fireworks viewing from Plaza Garden or Tomorrowland Terrace will also be available. Reservations for this experience open on June 7.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins on August 9. Tickets will go on sale to resort guests on May 8 and all guests on May 15. Ticket pricing has increased slightly.
