New Series of ‘Star Wars’ Droid Factory Mystery Crates at Disneyland and Walt Disney World

In honor of Star Wars Day on May the 4th, Droid Depot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a new series of Droid Factory Mystery Crates. The first series of these mystery droid figures launched in late 2021.

Droid Factory Mystery Crates

There are six possible astromech droids in this series:

  • MB-12: burgundy BB-shaped unit
  • LM-7B: white, black, and blue R4-shaped unit
  • AR-L5: blue BB-shaped unit
  • M5-K7: white and orange R2-shaped unit
  • SC-97: tan BB-shaped unit
  • J1-B2: white and silver R4-shaped unit

BB units, like BB-8, have orb-shaped bodies and domed heads. R2 units, like R2-D2, have cylindrical bodies and domed heads. R5 units have cylindrical bodies and conical heads with flat tops.

The figures come in mystery crates that are steel blue with screen-like panels on the sides and top. The figures are recommended for ages 4 and up.

Pricing varies from $14.99 to $19.99.
