Signs for a Tinker Bell meet and greet have been removed from Town Square Theater, years after the character stopped meeting guests there.

The outdoor sign advertising for a Tinker Bell meet and greet has been replaced with a second sign for Mickey Mouse.

Guests used to have the option to choose to meet Tinker Bell or Master Magician Mickey Mouse inside Town Square Theater, but Tink has not appeared since the closure of Magic Kingdom due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When regular meet and greets returned in April of 2022, only Mickey appeared in Town Square Theater. The removal of Tinker Bell signage indicates she will not be meeting here for the foreseeable future.

Here’s a look at the Town Square Theater exterior before Tinker Bell stopped meeting there. Her sign, which included a wait time, was on the left side of the entrance.

A Cast Member indicated to us that the change is to make way for Jack and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” however those characters only meet during the Halloween and Christmas seasons, leaving the space empty for the rest of the year.

All traces of Tinker Bell have also been removed from inside the theater, with Mickey’s poster being duplicated to take Tinker Bell’s vacant spot.

The sign reads “Town Square Theater proudly presents backstage magic with Mickey Mouse.” There is an image of Mickey and the wait time listed below him.
