Auli’i Cravalho, Voice of Moana, Visits Journey of Water for First Time

Auli’i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, recently visited Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” in EPCOT for the first time.

Cravalho tried out all the interactive water features and searched for hidden rock features. At the World Nature attraction, water magically responds to guests’ movements. See Cravalho explore the attraction below.

“Moana” was released in 2016. It stars Cravalho as the titular character and Dwayne Johnson as Maui. Supporting actors include Rachel House as Grandma Tala, Temuera Morrison as Tui, Jemaine Clement as Tamatoa, Nicole Scherzinger as Sina, and Alan Tudyk as Heihei.

A sequel, “Moana 2,” will be released in theaters on November 27, 2024. It was originally planned as a series but reworked into a feature film.

Cravalho is also executive producing a live-action “Moana” remake though won’t reprise her role. Co-directors of the animated film, Ron Clements and John Musker, are not involved in the project.
