In a post, Universal Orlando Resort teased that big Epic Universe news is coming this Thursday. The 11-second clip features no words, as gentle music plays. The video moves slowly through a night sky full of stars and galaxies.
At the four-second mark, “6.20.2024” appears in white. This cryptic message is the same one that was released at the end of April before the May 2 reveal of Super Nintendo World details.
In addition to Super Nintendo World, specific details have been revealed for Celestial Park and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. That leaves Dark Universe and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic as the only two lands in need of a full announcement. June 20 should mark the day we receive more information about one of those two lands.
Earlier this week we toured the Epic Universe Preview Center at Universal CityWalk. The scale model of the new park there offers insight to the unannounced attractions, but more information will be confirmed as the grand opening approaches. Epic Universe is expected to open in summer 2025.
