Disney Parks Blog has revealed the limited-time offerings that will be available for D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, happening on August 8, 2024.
D23 Day at Disneyland Resort
All guests with valid theme park admission and a reservation to visit Disneyland Resort — including D23 members and D23 Event attendees — can enjoy D23 Day.
The fun will kick off with a themed cavalcade at 12:15 p.m. in Disneyland Park, which will feature the Disneyland Band, 23 characters, and select Disney Legends.
At Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, guests will encounter characters making limited-time appearances, like Goofy and Max in their “Goof Troop” outfits in Mickey’s Toontown, Lotso from “Toy Story 3” in Pixar Pier, and more.
Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland Park will offer a dance party with Stitch and other Dsney friends from 1-6 p.m. From 7-11 p.m., a band will bring the energy up in the evening.
A new merchandise collection celebrating the 25th release anniversary of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Tarzan” will debut at Disneyland Resort on the same day, August 8. The collection will be available at Disneyana at Disneyland Park, Off the Page at Disney California Adventure, and WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District.
From August 8-11, medallion collectors can search for four new coins featuring the D23 Day at Disneyland Resort logo on one side, and Disneyland Resort art on the other.
The medallions will be available for purchase at Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen in Disneyland Park, Kingswell Shop at Disney California Adventure, and near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and lawn in the Downtown Disney District.
Guests will also be able to commemorate the first-ever D23 Day at Disneyland Resort with special photo opportunities. All park guests with valid admission and reservations on August 8, 2024 will receive complimentary unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day. There will also be a special MagicShot to find!
Other offerings include unique photo locations, illusion art installations at Disney California Adventure and the Downtown Disney District, and a collectible commemorative guide with 23 recommended activities and other details.
The D23 festivities continue all week long at the Downtown Disney District. From August 4-11, select locations will have special offers for guests who present their D23 Event badge or D23 membership card.
Guests can purchase tickets for special happy hour events at Naples Ristorante e Bar on August 9-10, from 3-5 p.m. each day. See more information and booking details.
