Tokyo Disney Resort is kicking off the spooky season with Disney Halloween 2024, which will see an all-new parade featuring Disney Villains.
Disney Halloween 2024 will take place at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from October 1 to November 7.

Entertainment and Attractions
At Tokyo Disneyland, The Villains Halloween “Into the Frenzy” will make its debut. The 45-minute daytime parade will be performed once daily and will feature well-known Disney Villains and some Disney heroes accompanied by music.
In addition to regular viewing locations, this parade can be enjoyed from designated viewing areas with Disney Premier Access for an additional fee.
At Tokyo DisneySea, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of special events. Disney Halloween Greetings will take place twice daily at Mediterranean Harbor and allow guests to see Mickey and his friends on a barge decorated with sweets and a giant pumpkin.
“Halloween Fair in New York” will take place mainly around the American Waterfront at Tokyo DisneySea. This lively event will feature spooky decorations at night. Other Halloween decorations can be found around the rest of the park as well as at Tokyo Disneyland.
Night High Halloween, a fireworks show accompanied by Halloween music, will be performed once per day. It can be viewed at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare” returns on September 19, 2024 at Tokyo Disneyland. The “Nightmare Before Christmas” inspired attraction will run until January 13, 2025.
Trick or Treating Returns
Trick or treating is returning to Tokyo DisneySea this year. Some Cast Members will wear special Halloween buckets and give out candy to any guest who says “trick or treat!” Offered candies will be different depending on the time of day you show up, so make sure to visit during the day and at night. Trick or treating will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Costumes
Guests are encouraged to wear costumes from September 30 through November 7, 2024. There are no changing facilities at the park, so guests are asked to change their clothes and do their makeup before showing up at the park. Full Disney Halloween 2024 costume rules can be found here.
Merchandise
Special Halloween merchandise will be available at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea during the celebration. Items depicting Mickey and his Disney friends attending a Halloween party hosted by villains will go on sale on September 30.
Merchandise depicting ghosts enjoying Halloween is back this year. It goes on sale on September 19. Villain-themed merchandise and Halloween costume items are now available. Merchandise inspired by “Frozen” is coming soon. A full list of merchandise can be found here.
Food
Select food items will go on sale on September 1 and new items will continue to roll out throughout the Halloween season. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will each feature unique menus. Each park will offer specific food-inspired souvenirs as well.
Disney hotels will also be offering special Halloween-inspired food menus and merchandise. A full list of these items can be found here.
Decorations
Halloween decorations will once again be set up throughout both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Above is concept art for the banners and the themed sign that will hang at the entrance to Tokyo Disneyland.
The planter at the entrance will also get a harvest-themed display, with Mickey and Minnie Mouse as scarecrows guarding a “Halloween 2024” Mickey pumpkin.
At Tokyo DisneySea, themed banners and Jack-o’-Lanterns will be displayed at the park’s entrance.
