Universal Orlando Resort has announced that the July 3 debut of the new Universal Mega Movie Parade will actually be a technical rehearsal.

The Universal Orlando Resort app now states that the July 3, 2024 performance will be a technical rehearsal. There had previously been no indication that the parade would debut as such.
In a reply to a guest on X (formerly Twitter), Universal Orlando confirmed that the official opening date of the parade would be shared at a later time:
A step-off time has not been confirmed for tomorrow’s performance, with Universal recommending guests stay tuned to the resort’s mobile app for the most up-to-date information.
Universal Mega Movie Parade at Universal Studios Florida will feature characters and floats from many of Universal’s properties, including “Jaws,” “Back to the Future” “E.T.,” and “Jurassic World.”
