If you read our article about Disney’s Right of First Refusal (ROFR) back in January, we explained why the low rate of DVC buying back contracts using ROFR meant that it was a good time to buy into DVC via the resale market. If you didn’t make the jump into DVC back then, but wish you had, I have some good news. Right now, through the end of August, it is again a great time to buy. The rate of Disney buybacks is again quite low, and on top of that, DVC Resale Market has some “Red Hot Deals” right now that are pretty fantastic.

These Red Hot Deals are priced below the market rate to enable a fast sale without tedious negotiation. The no-haggle price is clearly listed, and if you want the deal, you better grab it because when it’s gone, it’s gone.

The deals shown below were available at press time but may be gone by the time you read this article. But similar Red Hot Deals will be available all through August, so if something doesn’t strike your fancy right now, check back again soon.

Right now, the best deal on one of my favorite resorts, Animal Kingdom Lodge, is a 160-point contract for only $93 per point. Typically, Animal Kingdom Lodge goes for around $105-110 per point, and direct from Disney, you’d pay $210 per point! This Red Hot Deal is saving you 58%!

Table listing Animal Kingdom resort details: 160 points, points available (0, 12, 160), use year Feb, $/pt $93, price $14,880, estimated monthly payment $293.29. Red Hot Deal noted in status column. It's a great time to buy DVC resale with this offer!

Maybe you want to be on the monorail to make it super easy to get to the Magic Kingdom with kids. The Polynesian Village DVC points sell for $250 directly from Disney and are usually found on the resale market at $190-195, but this Red Hot Deal has them for $180, a savings of 28%.

A listing showing a Polynesian resort with ID PE39440, 110 points available, use year starting in June, $180 per point, total price $19,800, estimated monthly payment $198.83. Red Hot Deal! It's a great time to buy this DVC resale contract.

If you’re ready to jump into the wonderful world of DVC membership, get the best deal on a DVC contract from our friends at DVC Resale Market, which is staffed by many former DVC cast members who know the ins and outs of buying into DVC.

If you’re not sure about DVC just yet, I recommend trying out the DVC resorts and see if they’re for you. If you’ve always stayed at the All-Stars, a DVC resort can make a big difference in your vacation. To find out just how big of a difference and whether you think it’s worth it, you can rent DVC points for your next Disney trip. This gives you the opportunity to stay at a DVC resort just like a DVC member, but without buying into the system just yet. If this sounds like a great idea, contact our friends at DVC Rental Store to book your next resort stay in one of the many DVC resorts at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or Hilton Head Island, Vero Beach, or even Hawaii!
