The American flags at Walt Disney World are currently at half-staff to honor Pope Francis, who passed away at age 88 on Monday morning.

The flags at Disney World were already half-staff following a shooting at Florida State University last Thursday. Two people were killed and six more were injured.

WDWNT spoke to a Guest Relations Cast Member at Magic Kingdom who said the flags were scheduled to be at half-staff through noon on Monday.

Disney kept the flags lowered following President Trump’s order that U.S.A. flags on all public buildings and grounds be lowered to half-staff in memory of Pope Francis.
