Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will finally get a nighttime parade in the summer of 2025. The park has not had a year-round nighttime parade since 2016 when the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its last Magic Kingdom run.
New Nighttime Parade at Magic Kingdom
The new parade is called “Disney Starlight.” Disney said it will carry on the tradition of nighttime spectaculars, following in the footsteps of the “Main Street Electrical Parade.”
“Disney Starlight” will use the latest cutting-edge technology to tell new stories. The parade is brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy from “Pinocchio” and will feature characters from “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen,” and more. One piece of concept art features the Blue Fairy, Peter and Wendy, and Elsa in her “Frozen II” outfit.
Another piece features Mirabel, Isabelea, and Bruno on an “Encanto”-inspired float. A giant version of the Madrigal’s magical candle is in the center of the float.
Magic Kingdom received plenty of love during D23’s Disney Experiences Showcase. It will also receive two new “Cars” attractions and a Disney Villains land. Check out more Disney Parks announcements.
