Disney Releases Live-Action ‘Snow White’ Teaser Trailer & Poster

Disney shared the first trailer and poster for the live-action “Snow White” remake, which will be in theaters on March 21, 2025.

The film is simply titled “Snow White” instead of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” like its 1937 counterpart. In 2023, it was reported the dwarfs would be replaced with different magical creatures to avoid offensive stereotypes. It was later revealed the film will feature CGI dwarfs resembling the animated characters.

The “Snow White” remake stars Rachel Zegler as the titular princess and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. Martin Klebba, an actor with dwarfism, portrays Grumpy. Andrew Burnap is the new lead male character, Jonathan, and Ansu Kabia is the Huntsman. “Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. Filming mostly took place in the spring and summer of 2022, but pick-ups took place this summer.
